This was our first visit to Galena. My Mom, sister and I have never gone on a "girls"
weekend before. We loved Galena and we loved staying here. Although we were
unfamiliar with any of the B & B's in Galena we somehow booked into the perfect one.
Lyn and Mike are wonderful, our accommodations are fabulous and the location was
perfect. Thanks for making our weekend truly special.

Thank you for such a relaxing and serene two nights at your home. We felt just like
family, enjoying your breakfasts, furnishings, and fellowship. You folks are certainly
meant for this business. Everywhere I looked, I feasted my eyes and enjoyed all
your details. Your breakfasts were delicious and novel. You think of everything for your
guests comfort and oh, how we enjoyed the front porch, clawfoot tub, delicious chocolate
chip cookies and early morning coffee.

I hope your B& B has been featured in national magazines as one of he best in the U.S.
because it is. Your attention to detail is amazing: night lights, candles and matches
cookies, candy, hot and cold water for tea, coffee, apple cider and hot chocolate at all
hours. A fridge for "leftovers," lovely China and glassware, Kleenex, shampoo,
conditioner, hair dryer and of course your lovely antique-filled home. We would say you
have perfected the B & B and thought of everything. We were especially lucky to come
at the holidays and have the opportunity to enjoy your Christmas decorations. We will
recommend you to all our family and friends.

Here is what I learned while staying in your beautiful safe haven.
Nothing is so important that we can't stop for a deep breath. Bird song and cookies are
balm for the soul and take me sliding back in time right to grandma's, and then I find
myself once again in a comfy rocking chair. Good friends are more precious than gold
and Galena is a place where I am happy to meet myself once more. Thanks for providing
the transportation.

We have been to many B & B's before, but yours will always remain in our heart the
choice of choices. This is saying a lot for you and your hospitality. At the other B & B's
we stayed at here in historic Galena they had no real "heart" in their homes. Yours has

Thank you so much for what might possibly be the best nights rest I've had in over four
years. The room was fabulous with more than the comforts of home and the coffee early
in the morning was perfect.
We couldn't get over the attention to detail in our suite and during a year when getting
into the holiday spirit seemed next to impossible, your warm and inviting home has done
just that. We can't thank you enough for going out of your way for me at breakfast and
providing us with a meal so fantastic it rivaled some of the fantasy brunches in Chicago
and New York. Certainly with better company. We will be back with friends.
